- To bring into being and keep up proficiency in the utilization of ICT for delivering quality service both within the Commission and the different universities.
- Ensure that Universities provide upgraded facilities that will ensure comfortable learning for students and ease in acquiring knowledge.
- To ensure that graduates churned out from universities meet up with the manpower needs of the country, both in number and quality.
- To establish and cause to bloom a relationship between public and private universities.
